2. Wildlife, up close

Grizzly bears, moose, caribou, wolves—you name it, you’ll see it. With 169 species of birds, 14 species of fish and 39 (documented) species of mammals, you can’t help but feel amazed each time you see a creature in its natural habitat.

3. Diverse, untouched landscapes

Denali National Park spans an enormous six million acres, the entirety of which is punctuated by one single road running through the middle of it. Since the vast majority of the park is untouched by roads and buildings, it offers an opportunity to glimpse some of the diverse microclimates and wildlife up close.
