The best meal I’ve had abroad is Porta 4 in Porto, Portugal. A simple door and four tables. Two friends who cook, pour wine, and regale you with stories of their youth and the city they both love. I’ve never been more engaged with the moment and created such amazing memories with complete strangers. 

The one thing I won't travel without is running shoes. There is no better way to see a city than to lace up in the early morning and grab a few miles while everyone is still asleep. You see a place for what it is when nobody is watching, and it’s wonderful.

My dream destination is a vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina. Hiking, cooking, and drinking wine with an incredible view of the Andes. It’s the kind of place that might make me never come home.
